You might not know this, but most of what happens behind the scenes of this newsletter and podcast isn’t me doing it by hand any more.
Don’t worry! I’m still writing all of these newsletters myself….not outsourcing that to AI. Because AI slop is real, and you don’t deserve that.
But, the mechanics of how this newsletter and media company runs, the tasks in the backend that make this possible…AI now runs A LOT of that for me.
For example…
Yesterday Claude fixed the tracker that logs my YouTube performance into Notion every Friday. (Btw, my YouTube Channel just crossed 800 subscribers - if you didn’t know I had a channel, go over there and subscribe!)
Claude swept my entire email archive to pull contact details for every podcast guest and filled the gaps in my database.
It built a skill that writes my client invoices.
It cut and edited two reels for social.
And it built a landing page.
I’ve coded solutions to my repetative tasks, and built things I could have never done on my own before I knew how to use Claude code.
And how I do this is not coding in the way you’re probably imagining. I’m not staring at lines of code praying it will work.
I tell my idea to Claude, and Claude goes and write the code to build the thing I asked it to do on my own laptop, with my own files, my own database, my own invoice template, my own footage, and whatever else I ask of it.
As you all know, I’m a longevity scientist. I’m not a developer.
I have no technical team, and eighteen months ago I genuinely couldn’t have told how you to use the terminal.
This is why I’m teaching it, mostly to women.
