🎙️ INTERVIEW | Improving Brain Health with VR with Amir Bozorgzadeh, Co-Founder & CEO of VirtuLeap

In this episode, I chat with Dr. Amir Bozorgzadeh, the co-founder & CEO of VirtuLeap.

We talk about how we can use VR to improve our brain function.

He calls VirtuLeap, “A gym for your mind”

VirtuLeap combines neuroscience and virtual reality to help increase attention levels, and address cognitive illnesses, disorders, and learning challenges.

VirtuLeap makes Enhance VR, a brain training app offering short, gamified cognitive workouts and Cogniclear VR, a VR-based cognitive screening test that uses gamified scenarios to assess a wide range of cognitive abilities.

Their goal is to elevate the cognitive assessment and training industry with VR and AI.

Key Takeaways:

  • Amir's fascination with psychometric tests, like the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) led him to explore VR.

  • Exposure therapy in VR can help overcome phobias and anxiety.

  • VirtuLeap focuses on cognitive assessment and ADHD treatment.

  • The gaming aspect of VR can enhance user engagement in therapy.

  • Generative AI can revolutionize content creation in VR.

  • Future advancements in VR will integrate AI and robotics.

  • Understanding the body-mind relationship is crucial for mental health.

  • Balancing technology use is essential for mental well-being, and mindfulness may be more beneficial than constant cognitive stimulation.
